An adult day ticket at Hakuba Happo-one costs ¥9,800 at the window in peak season, but ¥6,400 in early December and from late March. Buying online and topping up an existing card lowers the price again. Choosing the right ticket depends mainly on your travel dates and how many days you will ski.
We are the staff at Shiroumaso, a ryokan in Hakuba near Happo-one. This guide sets out the 2026-27 Happo-one lift ticket prices, the different ways to buy them, and a simple way to decide what to buy for a five-night ski trip.
Prices checked November 3, 2026 against Happo-one's official ticket page and the resort's 2026-27 season briefing. Prices are in Japanese yen and may change. Check the official page before you buy.

Four ways to buy your ticket
1. At a ticket window
Ticket windows open around 15 to 30 minutes before the lifts start, depending on how busy it is. This is the simplest option for one day, and the only way to buy a senior ticket.
2. Web ticket, new purchase
Buy on the official webshop, receive a QR code by email, then scan it at a self-service ticket machine at the resort to collect your ticket. Web tickets bought in advance can be used during the season, but they are not refundable.
3. Web top-up
If you already have a Happo-one IC ticket card, you can add days to it online and go straight to the lift gate. Top-ups are cheaper than the window price, but they cannot be done at a ticket window. Keep the card from your first ticket: it can be reused.
4. SKIOSK ticket machines
The SKIOSK machines take credit cards only and charge the same price as the window. There are nine machines in total.
| Location | Machines |
|---|---|
| Nakiyama base | 1 for purchase, 1 for collecting web tickets |
| Happo Gondola station | 1 for purchase, 1 for collecting web tickets |
| Kokusai base | 1 for purchase, 1 for collecting web tickets |
| Sakka base | 1 for purchase, 1 for collecting web tickets |
| Happo Information Center | 1 for collecting web tickets |

Early-bird tickets: last chance until November 30
Happo-one sells an early-bird 2-day ticket for ¥16,600, online only, until November 30, 2026. It is for adults aged 18 and over and anyone can buy it. The two days do not have to be consecutive, and the ticket is cheapest when used in peak season (December 19 to March 22). There are no child or senior versions, and it cannot be refunded once you start using it.
Happo-one also sells cheaper early-bird tickets for holders of a Japanese My Number Card. These are aimed at residents of Japan, so most overseas visitors will use the standard early-bird 2-day ticket instead.
Which ticket should you buy for a 5-night stay?
A five-night stay usually means four ski days. Here is the adult cost of four peak-season days at Happo-one only:
| How you buy | Adult total for 4 days |
|---|---|
| Window, 1-day ticket × 4 | ¥39,200 |
| Web top-up, 3-day + 1-day | ¥37,700 |
| Early-bird 2-day (bought by Nov 30) + 2-day web top-up | ¥35,500 |
| Hakuba Valley 4-day ticket (10 resorts) | ¥42,800 |
If you plan to stay at Happo-one, web tickets are the cheapest option. If you want to ski at Iwatake, Tsugaike or other resorts, the Hakuba Valley ticket costs more, but it covers 10 resorts and the Hakuba Valley shuttle bus on the days you ski. For a comparison of the other resorts, see our Hakuba ski resort guide.
New to skiing? Start with the Happo Debut ticket
The Happo Debut ticket costs ¥4,900 for adults and ¥2,450 for children in peak season (2-day: ¥9,800 / ¥4,900). It covers seven gentle lifts at the base of the mountain: Nakiyama No. 2 Pair, Nakiyama No. 3 Triple, Shirakaba No. 1 and No. 2 Pair, Sakka No. 2 Pair, Sakka No. 3 Triple and the Sakka Kitaone Quad. If you only need a few runs, a base-area single ride is ¥800.
